Habitat for Humanity

October 11, 2013

Habitat for Humanity has been an active member of the push for affordable housing here in western Washington for years, but the Tacoma/Pierce County affiliate is working on something new: the largest project it has ever attempted. The project represents a new "model" for Habitat's work - building an entire neighborhood instead of rehabbing or building individual homes in a variety of neighborhoods. We'll take a closer look at the Woods at Golden Given project and hear from the people working to make this first-of-its-kind project come to life.

Program is available online after broadcast.
