KBTC is Tacoma’s source for award-winning programs that have been appreciated and loved by viewers for decades. Our lineup includes smart, informative, and entertaining shows such as

Antiques Roadshow, Nova, Nature, and Masterpiece Theatre. We are renowned for our children’s shows, which include Sesame Street, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That, Curious George, Arthur, and Clifford the Big Red Dog.

KBTC is also home for exclusive original productions that are created for and about the people, places, and events around the South Sound. We have been able to partner with other local news outlets to broaden our local public affairs offerings. EmmyKBTC has received Emmy Awards each year for the last 5 years from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), most recently including one for Mystery Vignettes. To date, KBTC has received over 25 nominations and nine Emmys.
