A Little Bit Rock And Roll

Western Washington's New 10th Congressional District

May 21, 2012

The growth reflected in the data from the last census means Washington State gets another seat in Congress. While the conventional wisdom is that a Democrat will be a shoe-in in the new 10th district... others aren't quite so sure. We'll take a look at the district, and talk about the new political climate in DC with several of our region's political insiders. Joining us in the studio are former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton, Strategies 360 political consultant Ron Dotzauer who led Sen. Martia Cantwell to victory over Gorton in 2000, and grassroots organizer and blogger Adam Isackson. In addition to taking a look at the new congressional district, we'll also talk about the state of politics in this era of hyper-partisanship.
