In Julia's Kitchen with Master Chefs
Chef and co-owner Jody Adams of the restaurant, Rialto at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA visits Julia Child in her kitchen. Chef Adams creates braised, stuffed breast of veal over a bed of polenta. As she cooks, chef Adams provides many tips. She warns Julia Child that bay leaves if swallowed could cut the inside of the throat and possibly be deadly. Chef Adams also tells Child that using whole garlic cloves in the sauce helps to thicken it without the use of fattening butter.
