Designer and digitizer, Laura Waterfield, owner of Laura’s Sewing Studio, says that fringe flowers add additional dimension to embroidery designs. She’ll demonstrate several types of fringe flowers that can be made with an embroidery machine.Megan Thome, formerly with EK Success Brands, will feature a variety of fabric flowers that can be used as brooches, headbands, shoe clips, and other fashion accents. She will highlight “chiffon chic” style of flowers in her demonstration.Shannon Wooton is an Extension Home Economist with the NM Cooperative Extension Service, and she is going to feature some easy handmade gifts, such as a superfast jelly roll quilt, a quilted bookmarker, hip headband, apron and a ten minute table topper. These make great gifts any time of the year.
